Objectives: To enable delegates to acquire knowledge on required subjects that will allow them to progress on to specialist Air Traffic Control courses.
Prerequisites: Good level of English Language comprehension.

Aerodrome Control

Objectives: To enable delegates to acquire knowledge and skills in Aerodrome Control to the level acceptable for On-the-Job training in their unit.
Prerequisites: Delegates should have attended an ab initio course and have a good level of comprehension of the English language.

Aerodrome Control - Advanced

Aerodrome Control - Refresher

Objectives: To enable Aerodrome Controllers to review their knowledge and refresh their skills through a systematic practical application of concepts.
Prerequisites: Participants should be practicing controllers in Aerodrome Control

Approach Control - Non-Radar (Procedural)

Duration: 6 Weeks Starting Date: on request

Objectives: To enable delegates to acquire knowledge and skills in Approach Procedural Control to the level acceptable for On-the-Job Training in their respective units.
Prerequisites: Delegates must have attended a course of instruction in Ab Initio and possess a good level of comprehension in English Language.

Area Control - Radar

Prerequisites: Delegates must be practicing controllers in procedural control (either Approach or Area) with a good level of comprehension in English Language.

Conversion of Area Radar Control to Approach Radar Control

Objectives: To provide practicing Area Radar Controllers with knowledge and to develop skills in Approach Radar Control to the level required for the issuance of an Approach Radar Control rating.

Radar Control
